how can I test my ignition coil?

Check resistances on the primary winding of the coil positive and negative terminal, and for secondary resistances from the positive terminal of the coil to the center tower of the coil.

Primary readings: 0.4 to 2 ohms

Secondary readings: 6K to 15K ohms
