the thermostat is located inside the housing that is attached to the lower radiator hose.
To replace it, drain coolant.
Disconnect the lower radiator hose from engine side.
Remove the housing bolts and you can remove the housing and thermostat.
After instalation, refill with radiator with coolant and release the bleeder bolt on top of radiator top hose housing. When no more air escaped from the bleeder bolt, retighten and top up radiator.
Start engine without radiator cap and when coolant level goes donw, keep topping up.
Once coolant level stabilises, close radiator cap and run till cooling fans cmes on.
Wait for engine to cool down before removing the radiator cap to check coolant again. Top up if necessary.
