1994 Acura Integra RPM's jumping between 3 and 4 on highway

It only happens 1 or 2 times a week. Last night, pretty bad.

I feels like it the engine is choking.

I have never used this website. If I feel question is answered, of course there will be a donation.

Hi crosbynancy,

When rpm runs erractically, it usually is caused by the ignition coil or ignition control module and this is an indication the distributor is due for attention.

The ignition coil would be the more likely cause. Check the distributor wire harness and connectors for bad contacts.
