Hello,

My car keeps revving between 2500 and 3000 rpm when I am idle. This usually last for the first 10 minutes after starting the car and then disappears.

Tobinschultz,

You might have a vacuum leak. But a more common and another probable cause would be a faulty IACV or FITV. These valves can be serviced with throttle body cleaner. I would attempt to service them first before replacement.
