Hello, my issue is a bit odd. To set the stage I drive the car listed above, it's in good condition, needs an oil change and I will soon. I have had some issues, replaced a few parts in the evap system, had to replace a fuse, and had some damage done to the front passenger side that has since been repaired. Also had the turbo replaced.

So, I drive often, over 60 miles a day for 5 days a week. I am usually on the freeway at 80 MPH. Today was no different, I'm driving at 80, the RPMs at the tick above 2,000. Then all of a sudden it hits up to 6,000 RPMs. I can't accelerate and any slight push on the gas brings it up to 6,000. I pull over, start slowing down. I notice it doesn't seem to shift down, I try accelerating while going about 35 and still jumps to 6, 00 RPMs. I turn off my car, wait a few seconds, start her up again and the rest of my drive goes smoothly.

Would anyone happen to know what's going on? I looked it up and it might be a faulty fuse? I'm not sure what this is but I cannot afford a big repair right now. If it's a sign of something big I'd like to get ahead of it ASAP.

It sounds like the transmission fluid may be low. Also, we should run the codes to see if anything comes up. here are two guides to help us and I have included instructions for your car in the images below.
