Good evening,
When you recovered the Freon, how much oil did you recover? There should be little or no oil recovered during recovery.
I would only add 1 ounce of oil to the Freon system.

The compressor holds 7 ounces but that oil has no connection to the Freon system.
I would evacuate it for 45 minutes and then charge.
When you do that, can you give the high and low side readings to see if the system is working correctly?
