I hooked up my gauges on my car. Started it. The gauges were about 40 on the low side 170 on the high side. It was about 95 degrees outside today. I added some refrigerant to bring the low side to 55 and the high side to 220. It was blowing cool but not cold. I shut the car off and about 2 hours later left for work. It was like the heater was turned on full for about the first 20 minutes of my drive. Then it cooled slightly but not better than just having the window open. I got to work and it sat for about 3 hours. Then I hooked up the gauges and started it again. The low side sat at about 95 and the high side 115. The ac clutch is working. There is no noise like the pump is bad or anything. But it was like nothing was being moved in the system. The condenser fan will turn on if the high pressure goes up. I hot wired the fan to make it turn on but that didn't change anything. I've been fighting it all summer. Sometimes I can get cool air out of it but never cold air. What am I missing what should I check? Thank you for any help.

Hello,

It looks like the compressor is going out because the pressures should be higher/lower. Here is a guide to help you change it out with diagrams below to show you how on your car:

and

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
