Hello, I'm Danny.
One thing you can do that is the most simple involves a can of Lysol. The wiper cowl which is the plastic piece at the bottom of the front window near back edge of the hood is an air intake for the A/C-heater system. After time dirt and leaves accumulate after slipping through openings. After mixing with moisture it can produce a slight smell. If you don't feel like actually removing the cowl to physically remove any debris I would use a full can of Lysol and spray into the cowl openings the entire length. Feel free to ask questions about this if needed. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
