The knob that changes heat to cold is stuck in a small range as you see in the pictures. Wouldn't go past that. Not sure if these have cables that can get stuck or do i need to remove the knob and turn the grooves. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

There are two different designs. One is electric and the other does have a cable.

If this won't turn, chances are the cable is damaged, loose, or where it connects to the temperature lever is bad.

I am attaching the directions for the removal and replacement of the cable for you to review. It shows the cable and where/how it attaches. Follow the cable from the controller to the air door lever and inspect for issues.

Let me know what you find so I can further help you.

Take care,

Joe
