It blows cold while moving but at times it'll stop blowing cold and get warm. Most of the time when parked it will stay warm occasionally it will stay cold so I'm really confused as to what could be the problem. The cooling fan is running fine no debris in between and is running properly. Is there another diagnostic procedure I can run or any ideas what it might be?

Hi,

It sounds like it is low on Freon. Take a look through these links:

Now, it could be something freezing up. Now, the best way to determine if the Freon is low, is by checking both the high and low pressures. You need an AC manifold kit to do it. Take a look at this link. It shows how to evacuate and recharge the system. I'm adding it specifically so you can see the manifold unit.

Now, I don't know where you are located, but often times, a parts store will lend you the kit. If you can, check the pressures and let me know what you find. Additionally, I will need the outside temps when it is checked.

If that isn't possible, here is a link that explains how to charge the system using a common recharge unit from a parts store.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

I apologize I forgot to mention I've already checked the Freon with my gauges and they are full. That's what made me even more curious. But maybe there might be additional options pass the Freon?

Could you let me know what the pressures were when checked and if you remember the temp outside?

If it isn't an issue with the Freon, what are the RPM's at idle with the AC on?
