Hi, I recently moved to a country where I cannot seem to find an ABS repair service. I would like to start a workshop that repairs existing modules or installs new ones; depending on the problem.

How do I start such a thing? Is there a way to train employees, resources I can use? What equipment do I need? Which parts do I need to have in stock?

I know this is not directly connected with a car problem, however I have found your site very informative and would like to know if any advice can be given.

This would be someone that can be trained in automotive electronic troubleshooting and repair.

Here is how you gather the codes:

Let me know how it goes.

The hardest part about this idea will be finding the correct data to do the repairs. You would probably be best off to contact the companies that actually make the systems for the auto companies, like Bosch, Kelsey-Hays, Bendix, Denso and talk to them about your idea. They may be willing to help you with information.
