ABS light intermittently turns on and stays on?

Hello, my ABS light sometimes comes on after start up and stays on, then when I turn off the car for half an hour, start up again the ABS light stays off for the duration of driving, and shuts off the same thing all the time. I had a diagnostic test, which showed I need to rear wheel sensors, and there was an ABS pump failure, but if that was the case why would the light go off and stay off sometimes?

Hello,

This could be due to faulty wiring or loose connection. That will explain why the light is always not present.
A good first step would be to inspect the ABS sensor on the back and make sure the harness is secure, also check and make sure there is no corrosion on the connectors.

Since the Honda Jazz is not sold in the US, we do not have access to the manuals, and I am unable to provide you with diagrams.
