ABS light on - ABS sensor on my front driver side wheel

I originally drilled out a stuck ABS sensor on my front driver side wheel. I want to know if the code is related to the ring on the CV axle, the ABS sensor, or the wheel bearing inside the knuckle/hub?How can I troubleshoot each of these items? I have a digital multimeter on hand. But don't know how to use it just yet.

When you say you drilled it out, do you mean that you could not remove it and drilled it out and replaced it?

Also, below is the info from the manual on how to test this code.

Basically you need to inspect the enoder ring for damage or missing teeth and if there are no visible signs of damage then I would suspect the sensor is the issue. However, if this is new and you still have this code then inspect that ring really well for damage. If you want the voltage it should be steady on a complete revolution. If there is variation in the signal in the same spot then the ring is damaged and needs replaced.
