Code C0265, ABS brakes

Code C0265 what is the problem?

Hi,

It does deal with the ABS relay. Something is causing a low voltage to the EBCM (electronic brake control module). It could be a damaged wire, corrosion, or even the module itself could be bad.

If you look at pic 1 below, it provides a diagnostic flow chart for this code. Take a look through it and let me know if you feel comfortable doing it.

If you haven't, try deleting the code and see if it comes back. If it does, check to make sure the connections at the EBCM are clean, undamaged, and not corroded. The EBCM is located under the vehicle along the frame. See pic 2

If everything is in good condition, then perform the diagnostics.
