There's going to be a diagnostic fault code related to the cause, but understand those codes never say to replace parts or that they're bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs to be diagnosed further, or the unacceptable operating condition. These guides can help us find the problem or code and fix it

You can get an idea of the type of problem by watching when the yellow ABS warning light turns on. If it goes through its six-second system test when you turn on the ignition switch, then stays on, suspect an electrical problem like a cut wire to a wheel speed sensor, or something like low brake fluid level. If the light goes off after the system test, and stays off until the car starts moving, you have a mechanical problem that is preventing a speed signal from being generated at one wheel. Given the recent repair, a good suspect would be the replacement shaft doesn't have the tone ring on the outer joint. Another good suspect is the wheel speed sensor got bumped and is broken or too far away from the tone ring to generate a strong signal.
