Started to sputter, changed plugs and wires, still a sputter, noticed spark coming from ignition coils, changed all three, sputter got worse, very rough idle, hardly drive, while out of town a friend of dads looked at it and unplugged some wire near the breather hose now has a smooth idle even when I give it gas but when I try to drive it won't accelerate and will try to stall unless I let off the gas, could this be a sensor? If so which one? Thanks!

Do you have a check engine light? If so then go to parts store to have them get the code(s) for you.
