The driver's side is barely blowing but when it does it’s hot and the passenger side is at proper fan speed but blowing hot cold hot cold. There haven’t been any noises, and we’ve tried recharging but that didn’t help. The heat is doing the same thing. It doesn’t feel like it gets warm.

Yep, it sounds like the rheostat inside the mode blend door actuator has gone out. Here is the location of the part you so can swap it out which should fix the problem. This car does not have right and left climate controls, correct? Here is the location of the mode door actuator so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens. BTW while you are under the dash, please check control cams for the heater and A/C blend door which I have included as well.

Thank you. I’m not a mechanic whatsoever so could you possibly dumb it down for me? I’m going to order the part and watch YouTube videos and hope for the best because I’m also broke.

Yep, it is tough out there right now. I would remove the actuator and then work the controls to see if it moves on it own. This is a difficult job not really for someone that is new to auto repair FYI. I can help walk you through it the best I can though if you want to give it a try. Upload images and video of any problem you may have.
