A/C and radio lighting

For more than three months, radio continues to play while engine off and keys out. Now as of yesterday when turning on radio and/or A/C, they do come on but there is no display showing on either. Noticed that after five to ten minutes, the displays do come back on to see. Ideas?

Hello,

The illumination is handled by the BCM which sounds like is having an issue. I would disconnect the battery and remove the BCM to look for corrosion or water damage at any of the pins on the electrical connectors.

Here is the wiring diagrams so you can see how the BCM ties in and the location of the BCM as well.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

Re-seated BCM connectors and seems to have worked. YES! Thank you.
