Have tried the fan motor and it seems to work, no wires or plugs are melted, Could this possibably be the resistor and how does one change it out. Or please tell me what the next step would be please? Thank you

What is the problem? Is the fan not turning on? If so, have you checked fuses as well as the fan relay?

Yes have check fan relay and swapped it with fuel relay, they have the same exact numbers, all checked out fine. Fan works fine when hot wired. I have a resistor on order, wonder if I should try this next? How can we tell and could you please explain how to access the resistor, or is this where the fan blower plugs in?

I am already helping you stick with the first question you asked post all replies there. Your only confusing people and increasing the time it will take to fix the problem.

Brand New Resistor blew in 2 days, replaced with another brand new one. Have re checked and hot wired fan motor and it works like a charm, install it back into car and it won't turn on and blow. Please advise, all fuses are fine, relays are working. How would you use a toggle switch as a temporary means to turn on the fan motor, Also the compressor does comes on as well. I am totally out of money now. Is there a diagram how to use a toggle switch. Thank you again Margaret

If the fan motor doesn't work how did the blower motor resistor burn out? Also how do you know the blower motor resistor burned out?I haven't seen very many go bad hardly ever last thing I would ever suspect going bad. So have you checked to see if you missing the power or the ground to blower motor?

If the fan is good and you are getting power to it, then the problem sounds like a ground issue as aforementioned by saturntech9. That would be my first check. Without a ground, the circuit can't be completed.

The ground for the fan motor should be bolted the area around the inside fuse box.
