My van won't start. The headlights stay bright when I try to start it. The dash lights come on. The alternator was replaced a year ago or so. The last couple of weeks it has been getting hard to start. It has plenty of gas in it.

If it's been hard to start I would check the battery first.

When I plugged it up to a battery charger it said charge complete. Could it still be the battery

Yes need to check it to see if it's low on cranking amps
