I watched your 5.3 ls build and wanted to know is that could be recycled so to speak for use on a gen4 5.3 ly5/LMG? If so just wanted to make sure that the parts you listed are still applicable granted sum parts like nox sensors will be different.

Great question. I will ask Ryan to jump in on this as he is the YouTubes channels manager and the one in the video.

For those that visit this page in the future. Here is a link to the first video in the series if you are interested in viewing it:

I will ask Ryan to respond. Please allow a day or so for him to respond. Thanks for your question.

Hey there! Thanks so much for watching!

The great part about the LS series is there is a ton of crossover between the different designations.

Here is a link as an intro on what is different for your engine:

Assembly is going to be basically the same!

As far as using my videos for your engine you will find it is super similar.

Here is a link to all of the torque specs for your engine it is slightly different from our LM7:

Regarding parts just make sure whatever you need will fit your engine. Summit has a great filter for your engine which you can find here:

Thank you for using 2CarPros!

Best,
Ryan
