Whilst driving, the 4WD, L and N lights start flashing. When this happens, the accelerator stops responding and the vehicle switches off on its own. Once I start it up again, it will drive another 5-6 KM, then it does the same thing again. I’ve changed the fuel pump thinking I’ve got a bad pump, I’ve changed the fuel filter, but nothing has changed.

The lights start flashing and that’s when the vehicle becomes unresponsive, the accelerator stops working and the vehicle just switches off.

If anyone knows what this could be, please do advise, as I’m having a hard time trying to find out what could be causing this.

Sure, the car is going into limp mode due to an error, to find out the problem we will need to run the codes.

Here is a guide to help:

I have seen a bad throttle body cause this problem FYI. Here is a guide to help explain what limp mode is and the popular causes for it. Also, I have included how to change the throttle body out in case a code is stored for it.

Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
