2012 Ford Transit dpf /EGR

The egr valve was replaced before xmas with a ford dealer as the engine management light was on. That solved that but I still get a strong smell of heat like burning and a bit of blue smoke after driving for an hour r two. It only lasts a few mins but because its a minibus it causes some distress to passengers.

It may be a small oil leak onto exhaust manifold.

It sounds like to meyou have a small coolant leak because they need to remove coolant lines to replace the EGR valve. Here is a guide to help and I have included the EGR replacement guide so you can see what I am talking about.
