First make sure that software and drivers are installed correctly from the supplied disc (in the option menu press test - cable connected ok but no car connection).
Close the vcds software and connect CAN to car connector, put the ignition key on, without starting engine - start vcds software and make the test again - this time will work ok, but in this order: pc, car, ignition, software"
