My question is about the TPMS sensors?

I recently got custom wheels, I transfered the OEM tires to new wheels, I mounted winter tires on the OEM wheels. Apparently the installer did not transfer the tpms sensors over to new wheels which are currently on the car so now the light is on. Can I just get new sensors for new wheels and change as the seasons dictate without any hassle/reprogramming, etc? How much should I expect to pay for new sensors?

You need to break down the tire from the rim to access the sensor. It is part of the valve stem. As far as replacement, you should be able to get new ones and the computer should recognize them without any reprograming. However, it may take a day for everything to start working properly again.
