So my mom has rattles in her car, and she has tried taking it to the dealer several times to have it fixed. It stays fine for a week, but then it happens again; to the point where she doesn't want to go back, spend that money, and have the same thing happen again. What would you recommend?

Bit hard to advise on this with out knowing what is causing the problem, is it engine related or body/trim? You could try a local independent mechanic and ask them to take a look, I just can't advise very much on what to do with out more details.

It's a body/trim issue.

Problem is with a lot of trim problems, the trim clips are rubbish and don't hold the trims tight, often when located, we add some soft foam rubber behind the trim to try and hold it firmer, or purchase new clips which can be expensive if you have to replace a lot of them.

So why do you think the dealer fixes it several times, it's fine for a week, and then the issue comes back?

If it is the same thing each time, they are not doing it correctly, with out seeing something like this I can't be sure as to what is going on, you will have to get them to explain to you why its not working of go see a different mechanic and get a second opinion.
