We don't get involved with costs here because there's way too many variables, especially when we don't even know what's wrong yet. Given the history, the fuses are the first thing to check, both inside and under the hood. Some often blow when connecting the battery simply from the current surge when the many computer memory circuits charge up. This is even more likely the cause when two or more things stop working at the same time. If just one circuit stopped, a failed computer becomes another good suspect.
