2009 Pontiac G5 Sometimes Turn Key Off Position Back Gets Stuck Strangely

Sometimes when I turn my key to the off position and then turn it back, my key gets stuck but strangely enough if i open my driver side door and shut it again the key will turn to the off position but it resets my whole car. What could be the problem?

I don't think the door is related to the key other than a vibration may be allowing it to turn. First, try to lube the key tumbler. Also, if you have a spare key, see if it does the same thing. Something tells me either the tumbler needs lubed or the key is wearing out.,
