When changing from 1st into 2nd gear, it was stiff to change. So I adjusted the gear alignment that didn’t make much of a difference, however the car service was coming up and so I changed the transmission fluid.
The gear change is significantly better, but because I adjusted the gear alignment, I want make sure I have done it correctly. As every now and again I can feel the gear just giving a bit of resistance when going into 2nd. Although I have read the syncro may need to be changed.
I have attached the Mazda 3 procedure which I found on the Internet. I want to know if this is the same procedure used for the Mazda 6 2009 model, or if they use a different gear when making the adjustment, or if the procedure is different.
