Today I was coming home from lunch with my brother. I had no problems with the clutch in my car until now. When I was getting off the exit of the highway I pushed in my clutch, in which I coasted to a stop at the end of it.. about halfway from the stop I put it in 1st gear... but kept the clutch in. I simply did this so that when I came to a stop I could let out on the clutch and go. But when I let out the clutch at the stop it stuck to the floor for about a second or two. then it came to my foot. I thought it was ok to go then so I touched the gas, but it just revved up the engine.. I then pushed the clutch back in. Double checked that I was in 1st gear, and let out on the clutch a second time.. it stuck again but not as much as the 1st time. I then touched the gas pedal... this only caused the clutch to burn up.. I immediately shut off the car. Pushed it off to the side of the road.. I then waited about 5 minutes to start up my car... And it wouldn't even start up..
