Metal slivers in oil or pieces of metal why?

If there are slivers of metal in your il it cold have come from bearings due to low oil in engine or a loss of oil pressure for some reason. Unless someone has put those in engien on purpose. If they are real tiny then it just may benormal as there is some wear in engines but really depedns on how big they are. If they are more like flakes dont 'worry about it the engine will start to knock or make noise if it is bearings
