how to remove door panel on 2007 pontiac G5 to check speakers

Front speakers on both sides do not work at all. I tried the Fade and balance settings on the radio. Only the rear speakers work and respond to the balance and fade controls.

Chances are it is the stereo itself. However, the door panels have a few screws that hold them in place. Remove them, remove arm rest, then the panel is clipped to the door with plastic retaining clips. Carefully remove them so they don't break.
