If the shake is more body related check rear wheels, if you feel it in the steering check front wheels for balance, as for this other noise it sounds as if it is in the drive line or tyres as well, check for a nail in the tyre as this can often give a weird noise that increases with speed.

With a front wheel drive car excessive body vibration is generated from the rear wheels, the if the tyres have been checked you need to make sure that the rims are not buckled, a rear suspension strut if failed will give a bouncy soft ride with excessive body roll, but vibration is generated by a wheel or tyre problem, I would go and get a second opinion on the rear wheels.

You may have something loose in the front drive line, you will need to get the car jacked up and inspected, you may be better off getting it on a hoist and having a mechanic look at it first hand. If this is the noise you mentioned in the first post, I would get it looked at ASAP as if it is drive line related you do not want it failing and leaving you stranded. If the noise is only there when turning it will be a failed CV in a drive shaft.
