I just serviced my car and when having it serviced they found oil in the air filter, they told me to drive it for a week and see if there is any more oil in my air filter and there was a oil on my filter again. I was told it could be pvc valve need cleaning and I have had that done. If that doesnt work is there anything else it could be. I was told it could be the oil pump.

It's not the oil pump. How many miles are on this engine?

Most times, blow by is the cause of this type of problem. That is when the engine rings are worn out and allow compressed air to bypass them and create pressure in the crankcase. As a result, excessive pressure finds its way out of anywhere it can. One place is the PCV or breather which force oil back into the air filter housing.

The best thing I could do is replace the engine rings, but dont you think it is still low mileage to replace the engine rings? Is there a way to tell if the engine rings need replacing?

Yes, I agree that it is very low mileage for the rings to be replaced. What you should do is check engine compression to see if it is weak on any of the cylinders.
