Water is somehow getting in on the Junction Box that is inside the cab by driver's foot pedals.

We just recently had to have the junction box replaced due to it getting wet and corroding inside. It fried our alternator which we also had to have replaced as well as caused a whole lot of issues.

So, we would like to get to the bottom of where this water is coming from so we can prevent this from all happening again.

So, the water visually looks like it is coming from underneath the dash straight down the wires of the junction box (I'll attach a picture) and it seems to be quite a bit.

We live in the lower mainland, so rain is something we see a lot of.

Something that may be worth noting: Our vehicle has a Sunroof. We had it professionally cleaned out about a year ago. We don't know how to clean it ourselves.

Hello, sorry to hear about this issue. I don't see any bulletins on this, but I have seen the sunroof drain tubes either getting clogged or being replaced with longer tubes, or them being relocated. Unfortunately to get to the tubes fully, the headliner usually has to come out. So having them checked to see if there clogged would be a second option. What I would do first, is have someone use a regular hose from your house and spray the vehicle down while having someone inside with a flashlight to watch and see if you can identify where the water is coming in from, Thats how we would find a water intrusion issue at a shop anyway. But you can see that the front drain hose for the sunroof is aimed right down where your having the water issue. You can open the sunroof fully and check inside that theres nothing visibly clogging that area, But running the hose over the truck while someones inside is your best bet. Sometimes it can be leaking in where the wipers rest at the bottom of the windshield. Any place water can go is suspect, some times there are areas that dont get fully sealed while the vehicle is being assembled.
Since you think it's coming from above the pedal area, that's where i would be with a really bright flashlight and someone just hosing the truck from up top on that area. Water leaks can be very difficult to find sometimes.

I just added some additional water leak detection tests (bottom 5 pages)
