I tried to get a remote starter for my car listed above Ls. But they were unable to install it because the computer in the car won't sync with the module that they need to put in. Is there anything to do to fix this?

They are correct, you need to have the body control module know that the vehicle has remote start. So you cannot just add the remote start system because the BCM will not know that is has BCM and not know to send the signal to start the vehicle to the PCM.

I am attaching the process from the manual on that that gives more detail about how it works.

Also, I am attaching a link to a video that we have just to program a key fob. This will not help you but I suspect others will click on this post looking for this information.
