I check at Fred's they have some premium SAE 5w-30 motor Oil (shell motor Oil) $2.65 per Quart for Gasoline engine with the certified sticker on the container can I use this Oil in the engine? And the Oil filter is a Havoline brand the price is $3.00 can I use this Oil filter in the engine?

If your using conventional motor oil I would change it every 3,000 miles if your using synthetic oil I would go 5-6,000 miles if your burning a lot of oil in between oil changes I would only use conventional oil. If your not using a lot of oil I would 5w30 if your using a lot of oil and live in a warm climate I would use 10w40. As far as a oil filter I would use a wix one if you want a good one. Use a fram if you want a medium grade one as far as oil I like castrol valvoline mobil shell is good also.
