I have an 06 Nissan 350Z with the Brembo calipers. I replaced the front & rear disc pads. I did not have the rotors machined as all appeared to be in good condition. The rear brakes are squeaking, upon slowing to a stop. (The front brakes are fine.) Any ideas are how I can eliminate the squeaking?

Thank you, Mark Manion

Yup. Did you use high-temperature brake grease on the backing plates of the pads and on the caliper mounts? Also, use sandpaper, a flat file, or rub the leading edges of the linings on cement to break the sharp edges. That will eliminate the "fingernails on the blackboard" squeal.

Be sure to wash off any grease from the pad linings and rotor surfaces.
