AC is not cooling. Was working fine until last week. Now the AC light flashes for a few seconds then goes off. Repair shop says need to replace compressor (says it's leaking) and drier units together. Seems to blow air just fine, it's just warm air and no condensation. Do I need to replace the drier with the compressor? Cost seems a little high at $1300 dollars. Any advice would be helpful. Do I need to get second opinion.

The receiver dryer is the system filter and it should be changed if the compressor has failed, the price sounds about right, but go get a second opinion anyway.
