Sound like the compressor is starting give you trouble.
To check this, have a partner to start the car and while you observe the a/c compressor and belt; have him/her to turn on the a/c.
You're checking to see if during the squeaking noise the compressor is turning or not.
Sometimes its better to put white chalk marks on the compressor pulley to help you determine when it starts to turn (since it kinda dark down there). DO THIS WITH THE ENGINE OFF!
If the a/c compressor is turning during the squeaking noise, suspect a bad belt or belt tensioner inspect them both.
