Good day,
I have a 2006 Ford Escape XLT that has the Duratec 3.0L in it. II flushed the radiator with a super flush and did everything according to the instructions. I am now lost and confused of why it takes so long to fill it up with antifreeze. All I have under the hood is just the reservoir with just a regular cap and in my owners manual it says it's capacity is 10 Liters. Please help.

First, depending on how you drained the coolant, there can be up to half it that never drained out. After flushing you're left with straight water in the system, so we typically add straight antifreeze until the radiator is full. Once the coolant is mixed, we test the freeze point, then add antifreeze or water as necessary to the reservoir.

Second, you likely have to burp an air pocket out of the system. Follow the upper radiator hose to the thermostat housing and look if there's a bleeder screw on it. If there is not, look for a threaded plug or a sensor that's screwed into that housing or nearby that can be removed to expel the air as you add more coolant. If you have to unscrew a sensor, keep the ignition switch off when it's unplugged to prevent setting a diagnostic fault code.
