My heater will be working properly and blowing hot air, then if I turn it off then try and turn it back on it won't work, nothing happens, then all at once it will turn on again. The temperature gauge is were it normally is and it as only just started doing this, when I have it on number 1 I have noticed it makes a sight noise but not on 2, 3 or 4

Do you mean the fan stops working or does the air get cold?

Then either there is an electrical issue or the fan motor is going bad. When it stops, can you check to see if there is power to it? If there is, the motor would be my first suspect. If the power is lost to the motor, then we have to start looking for a bad ground or a loose power supply.

Let me know.
