2006 Acura Tsx Motor Quit Running Repair Shop They Able Get Running By Advancing

motor quit running,repair shop said they were able to get it running by advancing the timing but it needed a new timing chain because it jumped time.
it had the p0341 code so is it possible for it to jump time without damanging engine or could it just be a
bad sensor?

no, dont know what they mean by advancing the timing.

if it jumped time and ran, then there should not be any damage.

341 is a cam sensor code and could be from the timing being off.
