Won't shift out of park. When it does, it makes a loud popping noise. Once it's out of park, it shifts and drives fine. But once you put it in park again, you have a hard time shifting it back out. Can you tell me whats wrong and if it will cost a lot to fix? And if so, is it an easy fix?

Thank you for your time ...

With ignition turned ON, depress the brake pedal and listen for a clicking noise under the gear shift console. If clicking is present but you are not able to shift out of park, you need to remove the console cover to check the interlock solenoid for proper operations.

Fi not clicking noise is present, check the brake lights for proper operations and repair as necessary.
