2005 Nissan Primera ignition key

Please can someone help me to solve this problem because I am desperate right now.
I can't find my car ignition key, I have searched everywhere at home as I am absolutely sure that I didn't lose it outside my home.
Please what or how do I get a replacement?
Please I need an urgent answer cos I am in a serious fix right now.

With Chryslers the selling dealer keeps a record of the key code and can cut one on the spot. Other dealers can get the code from the manufacturer by using the vehicle ID number. I suspect it's the same for Nissans and other manufacturers. You can also call a locksmith but I think they have to remove the lock cylinder and look at the tumblers to determine how to cut the key.
