Hi, I have 2005 Kia Rio with the service engine lite on. I run the OBD and it said a small/ light leak in the evaporative fuel canister or bad fuel cap. My question is does the Rio have a evaporative fuel canister and if so where is it located . I do not see it under the hood. It said the recommended fix was to check the top valve on the canister or replace the gas cap. Any hlp would be greatly appreciated .
Thank you Roger Morgan

If I remember correctly on the 05, the canister is near the fuel tank. However, this is what I recommend you do. Have the EVAP system fogged. Basically, fog or smoke is put into the EVAP system at a very low pressure. The smoke will leak out where the leak is located.

I recommend this because you could be looking a long time and not find the leak.
