Hello,

what are the consequences of inter cooler splits on a hyundai santa fe 2.0 CRDI 4x4? Is necessary to replace it?
Also, does the oil thickness affect engine rpm (increase it)?

Thank you in advance!

A split intercooler will suck in dirt just like not running an air filter. You can get a radiator shop to repair it. Engine oil viscosity should not affect RPM but using something other than recommended can cause damage and loss in gas mileage.
