Stall whenshifting from drive to park

1995 taures when shifting into park from drive veh stalls out
or the idle drops to were it almost going to stall and picks right
pack up, veh will start back up

It sounds like it could be a couple things. First, if there is a check engine light on, have the computer scanned for trouble codes (engine related such as IAC or vacuum leak). If the engine is okay, then I would recommend having the torque converter clutch (TCC) checked.
