Was driving last night and all of a sudden the radio cut out. Tried to jump it and nothing...went out and got a new battery tonight and all lights, dash, etc are very dim and truck feels like it is going to for again. Could this be alternator? Any other suggestions? Thanks

Ill be honest this just happened tonight and I haven't had a chance to test the voltage. I don't know much about cars in general but I am assuming I need to get it tested at an autozone type place? I am checking the alt fuse right now since I read that is a possible problem. I was just curious what it may sound like. I understand you probably need more info, I'm sorry I couldn't post more details at the moment. Thank you for responding
