Need to replace rear brake pads. I know how to do that, but my problem is- the vehicle has alloy sport wheels and I cannot get them off the vehicle. I have removed all 5 lugs and the center appears to be held on with the axle bolt. I have removed that, but the wheel will not budge. I have pried on it, beat on it with a rubber mallet and cussed a blue streak at it, but it will not come off. I know I'm missing something simple. Can you give this idiot some help?

it will just be stuck on the studs, fit one nut for safety and get on you butt and kick it with your heels, it should pop off, just make sure it is secure in a sturdy stand first.
